Waste Recycling Facilities - Tee - 12-Jan-2003 The Proposed site for this recycling unit has now been submitted to LCC. I had a look at a display of the proposed facility was held at Farington lodge where a model of the initial complex was on display. The model consisted of a three tear circular tower, conveyer belts and mashing machines. Unloading of waste from vehicles would be done within the building. I was also informed that no gases or smells would be released into the atmosphere and the whole of the operation would take place within an enclosed singe building. From the letter received from LCC the building would stand approximately 100ft high with a lagoon! That’s some building? To give people living in the area a better insight of the implications and knock on effects is their any one out there that could do an artist impression of this complex within the proposed setting? Thanks Terry - dedwardsa - 12-Jan-2003 Hi Tee, Sorry, can't draw to save my life, but JOOI, where is the proposed site?
