Ive been finding some good links about lancashire, one I`m looking into at the moment is Ancestral Village, for anyone interested in tracing their family tree, this is the link to my page, I`m hoping to find more later. Sandieh. [8D]

You should be congratulated on your web site Sandy. I've tried over and over to create my own but half way through I get fed up.I'm a dog lover also, we have two brothers from the same litter. Dylan and Thomas. What a lovely smile you have.

Hi Sandy, Great site you have there. As genealogy is my hobby, I found Ancestral Village very interesting and have subscribed to it. Leyland looks to be quite threadbare at the moment (the site -that is), but as my maternal relations (ALSTON`s , HINDLE`s etc.) have their roots here, I can soon fill it out a little. Once again, well done on your web page - I`ve always found it a little daunting when I`ve thought of starting one.

Hi Eileen and Spitfire, Angelfire has a basic beginers web page that you might try, its good to be able to save links. The Ancestral site looks good I`m going to join to, I have also been trying to trace a family tree without much success, the Census 1901 is a bit of help and the church of latter day saints is another, I`ll try to find the links for them. Thanks Noel. I love the names of your dogs, I can hardly remember a time when I did`nt have a dog, my two are real softies.
I took ages to start a real page, like you I`d get so far and get bored, until I tried editing the page myself, I went to a lot of tutorial sites and copied the codes into my notebook, that made it easier because I could then copy and paste codes into the page.

We've always had dogs too Sandie. Our last dog Simon, was so cute. One day he saw a bird feeding in his biscuit bowl. He picked the bird up in his mouth, walked out into the garden , and let the bird go. I'll have to get my thinking head on and try and do something about my home page. Might have to get my wife to do the smile though, she's much better looking.

I`m trying to find my great grandfather James England, born about 1846 in Bilton, York, England, my grandfather was Charles born about 1876. Thanks Spitfire.
