Luxery?

- dottymapley - 06-Sep-2011

At least they've spelled ACCOMMODATION correctly - it's a fairly common error in ads.

Thanks for noticing the error it has been amended nowquote:

We go to the Wellington for the New Years Eve dance, get a great buffet, plenty of choice but drink prices are pricey, £16 for a bottle of cheapest wine . Not that I can drink as I'm driving home later.

Have the Masons sold out, then?

Nice place, good food, staff a little green around the gills, but generally Ok.

Professional management may have improved it enourmously.

My boss used to go to the meets there, did they actually own it? There's a "loan reduction fund" whatever that is with events at the Wellington, sometimes referred to as Masonic Lodge.
A mystery

I regularly attend meetings (non-masonic) there and so far as I know it's still run by the masons. From the size and number of Ads on Church Rd, they're obviously anxious to attract custom.

Leyland Group of Masonic Lodges still own Wellington Park.
