"Speak" is a verb, so must be described with an adverb. The phrase should have read "people who speak properly". [}Smile][Wink][}Smile]

Ah thewt it wor ' talk proper', any road...
My grandma used to use words like 'slutch' and 'mithering'or 'moidering' I was surprised my partner didn't know what a 'shippon' was, coming from as nearby as Rochdale........
