I played snooker on a half size table which is bigger than a pool table, and could make a reasonable go at it. Switching later to a full size table, where the balls seem as big as tennis balls and 100 times the weight, makes you appreciate just how good the professionals are.
Females used to play as well, good fun when I was a lad in his early twenties, always welcomed them with open arms.[:p]
