Just finished reading a history book on Leyland, (Not the David Hunt book) and it shows all the historic buildings in Leyland that have tragicly been knocked down!
Some of them are maginifcent! Like Broadfield House near where I live or the old weavers cottages on Towngate or some of the houses on Church Road just to name a few!
The history that has been lost [
] It really is awful. Leyland has a rich history but most of it has been destroyed were it could have been saved.
