Irish referendum

Why are they having another referendum ??? Did they not like the last result and will they keep on having one till they get the required result.

I think you're right there but at least they've been given the chance to say no, unlike us.

From what I can understand it was a bit like the referendum on congestion charges in Manchester -the Irish felt they were being bullied and bribed into acceptance and retaliated by voting no.
I expect there will be other sweeteners offered to persuade them to vote the 'right 'way next time.
Isn't it amazing how we are always being told on various matters that All 'right thinking 'people must toe whatever line is being laid down.
Good for the Irish in standing up and being counted.
That's my opinion for what it's worth.

Just keep voting till those in charge get what they want. Offer all sorts of bribes and fool the people and then when you get what you want back out of giving what was offered in the first place and say it was beyond your control.
