Urnshaw Bridge
#1
Are there any knowledgeable historians amongst us.I am nearly 59 years old and have only just discovered this, just around the corner from where i was born.Very observant am i.........NOT!
I take it this is why Earnshaw Bridge is so called,so why is it named Urnshaw Bridge,on the bridge?

The bridge goes way back to the 14th century when it was called Ereneshaigh bridge.
