Best Curry place in the world is Sammis in Singapore, located in the former Colonial Public Service Club on Dempsey Road, two sikh's sat at a little table on the door, you have to Join the (now defucnt) Club to gain entry for Sing 20c. Inside its like being back in the 1920's with paddel fans and a wooden floor, no aircon (thats warm in Singers). Authentic South Indian food.

The food is incredible and you eat with your hands the food served on a banana leaf, washed down with a pint if lime juice.
