#1
I have spoken on several occasions of my praise for the services supplied by S.Ribble over the years, .

I make no apologies for adding to that list. The photo was taken ten minutes ago.

Okay Noel Jim and the rest of you in the Leyland. Your energy secretary has just said that you only have "8 DAYS" of gas left[:0][:0]. You had better get your electric blankets out and put on some extra underwear[Big Grin] If you have a fireplace better clean it out and pop out and get some coal for it.[Big Grin] Forget the bath a top and tail will do[Big Grin][Big Grin]

See I am enjoying this being as we are always knee deep in snow and you get off scot free.[Big Grin] It looks really cold in Leyland[^] Still it does bring the best out in some people[Big Grin][Big Grin]

Do you think we should set up a clock to the count down for your gas outage[:0]. Perhaps you could start generating your own gas[}Smile] Grab a few cows and take them home[xx(][}Smile][xx(]

Your picture looks really pretty Jim looks like the snow could last a while. [Big Grin] That darned global warming[:p][:p] Would that be the dustbin man Jim....

It hasn't started snowing here yet but the forecast says it will later tonight. I'm not sure if I'll get to work tomorrow.

Here in New Hampshire the oldies live by the weather forecast. If it says there is going to be snow tomorrow the day before the shops are full of people buying milk bread and enough food to last a month. We do have good town plow service they are out all night cleaning up and this year they have been even better.

Avril, Dustbin? What`s a dustbin? [Tongue][Tongue] Actually it`s the grey wheelie bin (non-recyclable rubbish) collection and the square section behind the drivers cab, is for the blue bags, containing newspapers and magazines.

As for the gas, there is enough hot air generated on here to keep us going until spring. BEFORE THE FRAGILE ONES IN OUR MIST GRAB THEIR KEYBOARDS - THAT WAS A JOKE.

Jim, you were so lucky to get your bins emptied. It was bin day here yesterday too, but they didn't turn up. It was recycling day, so we had the other bin and the paper collection sacks out too. Recycling collection is once a fortnight, but the last recycling day they couldn't risk turning out because of snow, so we didn't get a collection. No collection yesterday, so it's going to be another fortnight now. As we haven't had a recycling collection since 8th December, those bins are going to be overflowing soon!

Not just Jim lucky, we had all our bins emptied on time too, including a mountain of cardboard from Christmas packaging. South Ribble thankyou.
