Timber planters in Leyland

South Ribble B.C. paid a great deal of money to supply and fit some new timber planters and display signs throughout Hough Lane and Towngate
This was done to spruce up the town centre I think for the transport weekend
As with anything they put in place they leave them to fall into disrepair instead of having them put on a maintenance program. They are in much need of a coat of stain.
This would be a nice little job for the lads or women on community service.

It was a bad idea to put them there in the first place without proper regeneration/resurfacing of Hough Lane - they look like a white filling in a mouth full of rotten teeth.
