Runshaw should have ample parking for its students. The yellow lines on the Worden estate are an example of the council closing their eyes to the real problem. They removed free parking in the town centre - making the only free parking (not only but you have to search to find a spot) on Tesco car park. The roads on the Worden estate are wide enough for parking, and as long as no driveways are obstructed I see no problem in burning the lines off. When I was learning to drive my instucter took me onto the Worden estate once - we where told by one resident that learner drivers where not welcome as residents didn't like the sound of cars reversing around corners. That seemed to spell out the attitude of Worden residents. Public road - you do not own the road outside your house. I live in a terraced house and if someone parks outside my house I have to find somewhere else - either buy the road and maintain it yourself or stop moaning.
