Underwater charity record Attempt
#1
quote:

A diver from Leyland, Lancashire, is challenging the world record for the longest time spent under water.
A special tank has been delivered to a warehouse near 35-year-old Mark Webber's home in preparation for the bid later this year.

He hopes to raise thousands of pounds for charity by breaking the current world record which stands at just over eight days.

He will sleep underwater and have his air replaced at regular intervals.

There were some technicalities that weren't mentioned in this report, but they are of a personal nature.... [:I]
I'll not ask.

Funny - before I'd read down as far as this part of Martin's posting, my mind was wondering about 'bodily functions'! [:0] He wouldn't be wanting to sit in his own pee for 8 days and short of over dosing on Immodium..... Hmmmm. Perhaps they let him get out for 'bathroom functions'?[:o)]

Those were my first thoughts exactly- 'great minds' an' all that! I suggest a good dose of Jeye's Fluid in the tank.
