So South Ribble Council are freezing their share of the council tax for the fourth time in five years.

Can't be bad!

I think if the tories had retained the county, that tax would have remained the same too. Hard times for councils, hard times for those paying council tax.

Over 200 local authorities have pledged to freeze their bills. They will be entitaled to a share of a £550million windfall, my council Wigan is eligible to claim more than £1.1million.
