Canadian police arrest a man they say used the notorious bug to nab about 900 social insurance numbers, along with other possible data.

Is anyone worried about the Heartbleed security risk?

Yes. I have changed all my passwords.

You can do security checks to see which websites have fixed the bug. It's best to change your passwords after the fix has been applied. LastPass has a good feature for checking your sites.

I got a email for McAfee alerting me to this that said don't bother changing passwords until advised to do so by Institutions. I didn't open the attachment because you never know where these things may have come from.

I have downloaded Last Pass thanks Martin. It was a bit fiddly getting started but is going to be very good I think.

Last Pass helps me with the gazillion passwords that I'm supposed to remember and it wasn't affected by the heartbleed problem.
