We have become quite friendly with a couple at the other end of the road simply by delivering each others mail to them. How this happens is anyones guess because neither the names nor the numbers are similar!

You`re not on your own with mis-directed mail. We get it due to a similarity of post codes, (2BS becomes 2BZ) kind of thing, but ceasing to be public spirited and doing their job for them, I now put it back in the pillar-box, with "try again" written on.
The postie used to be well turned out, no more, so scruffy you wonder how he came to be trusted with the Mail.

Apparently it`s not only the Royal Mail that can be late delivering letters. I have just received an e-mail stating that, `Noel has replied to a posting regarding dialect words`. When I checked this thread, Noel`s last post on the subject was 24th APRIL !!!!!!!!!!!
