Satellite TV free channels
#1
Satellite TV reception has been a hobby of mine since 1988.
These days quality is high and prices are low. A receiver plus dish and fitting kit from 50 quid upwards.
Now then, how many free unscrambled (clear) programmes can you pick up with one of these systems?

30?

75?

100?

in fact, over 600 free channels !!

....what are you waiting for?

Roy does that include the main terrestial ones. We cant receive granada even though we are so close to the transmitter because we are at the foot of a hill so we can only get the welsh programs which can be a right pain. We now have cable for the lounge TV but the one in the bedroom is still tuned to Wales. The worst is getting S4C instead of channel 4 as its nearly all welsh.

Roy, Obviously you can`t list all 600 stations, but can you give a taster of what is available, other than the usual free view ones. I don`t suppose Sky sports is one of them is it?[Tongue][Tongue][Tongue]

Even better than that, Shuffy, you get Granada and every ITV region in the UK plus every BBC1 and BBC2 region all free.

Jim, I am planning a massive 10 minute, one channel per second animation
that's 600 different programmes. I don't know if it will work or not we'll have to see.

There is lots of sport incuding the English version of Real Madrid TV 24 hrs a day footie.

Free to Air (FTA) satellite knocks spots off Freview.
