Thanks Brian It might help with the information I have. Now I have another problem I did not know that there are two Longton's, one in Lancashire and one in Staffordshire. I shall have to look back at my records again and see if I can determine which area my great grandmother came from. The one from Leyland lived at Ribgy farm which was either in Leyland or Longton. I get so mixed up with this genealogy.
