Thanks Jim, I may have a look at Preston Temple. I tried to check my Grandfather's parents by visiting the graveyard where I believed they were buried, thinking it was Dent in the Yorkshire Dales ( only one church there so easy to check on. I found out later that he was born 30 miles away, so that was a wasted trip!!! Maybe we should change this bit to a genealogy item?
