AnneMarie, I used to go to St Ambroses Sunday Discos too. Mainly in the Soul room but was happy to go between the two rooms. I think my hubby knows Ian Brewster (ex Balshaws if I remember) I will ask if he knows what happened to him. Vanessa

I recall a trip with West Paddock Y.C. some years back where we visited a school in Denmark that was self sufficient - right down to the rickety old buses that they picked us up in, in Holland then drove all the way to Denmark with very few stops. Jim Green was charge, Ann Moore was one of the adults too. What a trip!!!

Also learned to drive in the Rose & Crown; well that's where my Dad's instructions always seemed to have us end up!!! He'd have a quick pint then we'd buy supper from the chippy!!

Ian Clayton taught me to drive, he lived down Fox Lane.
When did you all go to the youth clubs? I went about 1978-1980.
