Of course you're right Phil, you've already said it before, you can never be wrong.

Nice one John - hey Phil, I hevent seen that - movie is it?
Yes the world is changing for many of the Drilling fraternity - for now anyway - I think that same sort of life changing stuff was said at the time when Piper Alpha blew up in the North Sea and the safety cases came in offshore. That's now all a thing of the past, safety cases are just theoretical documents drawn up by risk analysts in back rooms, many are just cut and pastes from previous projects bringing with them all the mistakes previously made. The whole system needs an injection of enthusiasm, sincerity and reality. Including within the Governement Departments that assess the safety cases.
Well thats my soap box speech for the day.

Hows the Leyland Pub scene at present - any decent bands worth watching?

I may be coming back again next year to an extended Pub crawl, so tell Greenalls to put a few extra shifts on to get the stock levels up.

Cheers

I assumed you were talking about cars that people like you and me can afford, which is why I left out any super cars - Ferrari etc.
I assume also that the 'd' in your Vauxhalls title means diesel? If so, 0-60 is around 9.3 seconds, wow, the others can't have been trying.
I did leave Fiat out, do they still build cars? The last lot over here all fell to pieces and they stopped importing those as well.

The 'd' does mean diesel (though if patent timings had been different I could be driving a Stuart fueled car). As for the 0-60 time - does not matter at those lights. The 0-30 time is more important.

Plus the English are faster. Land speed record and fastest accelerating road legal car (Red Victor). Youtube red victor. 0-60 in one second.

Gonzo,
Regards your first comment, US specs don't go that low so I can't say.
Your second comment is just plain silly.

Sorry Gonzo, I missed a bit, Red Victor has an American Chevrolet engine.
