Well let's be honest, it couldn't possibly be any worse than all their previous attempts at a web browser!
I'd seriously recommend everyone to stay well clear of any of Microsoft's buggy, security poor browsers. Don't infect your computers with it if you can possibly avoid it.
Firefox (
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/), Safari (
http://www.apple.com/safari/) and Google Chrome (
http://www.google.com/chrome) are all great browsers.
Firefox is the best general purpose browser, with loads of free add-ons you can customise your browsing experience with (but works just fine 'out of the box' if you can't be bothered with add-ons).
Chrome is the fastest and has the least amount of rubbish cluttering up your toolbar space. If you don't mind the possibility of Google knowing even more about you and your browsing habits than they do already, then give it a try, you're unlikely to be disappointed.
