Unbelievable - left the house for work at 8.30 am this morning - some scroat has helped themselves to 4 large ornimental pots containg decorative plants etc from my front garden....
Spoke to neighbour who then noticed that 9 out of 13 dwarf connifers had been dug up from his garden - the choosy theives had evn filled in the holes and patted the earth !!!! ( they left 4 sickly looking trees - selective..)
Anyone else suffering ?????????????

Not had anything nicked from our garden, but there was a nasty spate of thefts of garden ornaments from our area a year or two back. Friends of ours even had a cast iron table and chairs stolen, which must have given the thievs a hernia to shift!
Sadly, Pondskater, your ornamental pots wil probably be on sale at some car boot sale this weekend, Easter being the most popular gardening weekend. Grrrrr!

Just read in the Leyland Guardian,
"POLICE in Leyland are looking to reunite a haul of stolen garden ornaments with their rightful owners.
Several thousand pounds of items including more than 50 pots plants, ornaments, bird baths, earthenware pots, conifers, azaleas, and two very large cordaline plants, were recovered by police last week".
Do you have any news on the stuff you had nicked early last month? Or am I being too optimistic!!
